Signed and dated on the verso of the second canvas, lower stretcher bar, left: “Giulio Paolini 1975”

The reproduction of a mountain landscape, crumpled up inside an empty stretcher, is accompanied by a primed canvas on which a rectangle filled with coloured pencil drawings duplicates the "vision" of that same image.
The same theme was also formulated in a variant made during the same year (GPO-0290).
