Two plaster casts of the same female hand, turned in opposite directions and placed one over the other, are associated with the torn photographic reproduction of the artist’s hand holding a pencil.
The conversation between the plaster hands and the gesture of the author marks the “birth certificate”, that is, the germinal moment that presides over the birth of a work – as if the interaction between the hands holds the mystery of artistic creation itself.
