Eight primed canvases frame a photographic canvas in the middle, representing the artist in his studio as he prepares a canvas for the work Narciso, 19066 (GPO-0095).
The artist explains: “Assonance between frame (“cadre” in French) and painting (“quadro” in Italian), Cadre defines the painting as a spatial framing and at the same time as a space on which to form a project that is constantly expanding: from one work to the other, each time the artist adds a new piece to the frame of 'his' painting".1
