The two canvases must be displayed with a distance of 2-3 cm between them.

The two photographic canvases at a short distance from each other are a sequence of two details from the same negative used for the work entitled 1/25 (1965, GPO-0080).
The artist explains: “Just as in
Giulio Paolini [1971, GPO-0231] the transcription of the signatures and the dates is none other than the repetition of pre-existing signatures and dates, here I place myself so that I am in pursuit of that someone I was once before and that I still am".1
