The fountain commissioned for the entrance hall to a private house in Cortona is characterized at the centre by a composition with a pyramidal shape in bronze representing various work tools used by the artist. The base consists of a palette, several paintbrushes, a goniometer, and a French curve wedged into each other, while the vertical development consists of a pencil, a compass, a paintbrush, two French curves, and a goniometer held at a different height. Around this central element, quadrilateral and circular geometric shapes in brass inlay in the lining at the bottom of the basin are contained inside each other, as if to amplify and "correct" the forms generated by the spurt of the pool of water.
