A metal polyhedron – consisting of four intersecting circles forming a sphere – contains a black pencil that is slightly tilted and whose tip marks the origin of a circular drawing expanding freely.
The title marks the intimate correspondence between the development of the drawing and the rotating movement implicit in the polyhedron, whose reciprocal relationship is expressed by the pencil that seems to generate the drawing as if driven by the sphere.
