The small white cardboard squares lined up in a row in the upper part of a wooden panel painted with white tempera anticipate the start of a modular sequence. In the area corresponding to each square is a tiny fragment, cut out from the colour reproduction of a work by Gastone Novelli in the first row, and from a work by Mario Schifano in the second and third rows.
An unknown work by Gastone Novelli in the first line and an unknown work from the series Propaganda by Mario Schifano in the second and third lines.
