The work was mounted and reproduced with two different vertical orientations, both of which possible and correct.
Monochrome squares of coloured crepe paper, made up of small strips of partially overlapping paper, are stapled, at regular intervals, on horizontal strips of polyethylene, in turn mounted on a stretcher covered with transparent cling wrap (according to a principle already used by the artist in some of his works from 1961). Inside the anonymous and uniform pattern, based on the modular repetition, there is no rational criterion underlying the chromatic succession.
