A small overturned canvas is mounted at the centre of a larger primed canvas viewed from the recto. The collage of fragments from a colour photograph of an abstract painting that is no longer recognizable, applied beforehand on the overturned canvas and then torn, simulates the dripping of paint between the two canvases.
The same title (at times followed by a different date) was used for a series of eleven works made between 1973 and 1974, each of which cites an anthology of one or more works (GPO-0258, GPO-0259, GPO-0260, GPO-0262, GPO-0263, from GPO-0267 to GPO-0270, GPO-0273, GPO-0274).
