Progetto per una piazza a Firenze, 2001

The destination of the project which is documented by several drawings and nothing more is unknown. Perhaps it is an alternative variation imagined for the artistic intervention in Piazza della Signoria in Florence, formulated during the same period (cf. GPO-0921).
In the artist’s own words: “Eight columns are arranged on the diagonals of an original, central point, made up of a cube that generates the bases of increasing size and distance of the surrounding elements”.1
